Au-Pair España

The Au-pair programme in Spain is the temporary hostage in a family of a young foreigner mainly between 18 and 27 who is willing to improve the knowledge of Spanish as well as experience the Spanish way of life.

The host family offers private accommodation and full board as well as pocket money to the Au-pair and in exchange the Au-pair offers regular child-care as well as help in the house as another member of the family.
An Au-pair is not a hired employee, and is not subjected to a work contract. This kind of programme is based on a culture exchange scheme.

The IAPA (International Au-pair Association) is a professional body founded in 1994 at the World Travel and Student Conference of FIYTO in Vancouver, Canada. Only professional and fully licensed Agencies that follow an approved ethic code of conduct for the screening of their clients are accepted as members of IAPA. This organization establishes the criteria to properly administer the Au-pair programmes worldwide.
